Rush and Young

More SG:U!! (sorry...) Rush again, but this time with another character I love called Everett Young! These two basically hate each other, particularly in season one, but by about half way through season 2 they come to a sort of truce and end up working together (to some degree). It's actually really great to watch because arguably both character's are 'right' in terms of the decisions they make and why they make them, but yet they end up coming to completely different conclusions and things often go badly because of that. They're also reaaaally bad at communicating with each other (especially Rush), which doesn't help. 

Buuut, one thing they do have in common is a shared love for this film called Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, which includes this famous line that goes: "For a moment there I thought we were in trouble." Rush quotes it in one episode, and the only person who gets the reference is Young, which surprises them both xD If there was a third season, I'd like to see the two of them actually managing to work together on missions and stuff a bit like other military-scientist team-ups in Stargate (like Sheppard and McKay), but I imagine it would just end up with Rush yelling maths at Young and being like "Listen to me, I'm right!" and Young just swearing xD Hence the picture!

Also, sorry if I haven't commented on/replied to stuff - it's nothing personal! I've got about 70 messages in my inbox, many of which are several weeks old....I'll get round to sorting them out eventually! It's just...uggh
